Simonton

Simonton began operation in 1946 in a small town called Pennsboro, West Virginia. The Simonton family recognized the need for high quality products like aluminum windows and doors. Years ahead of their time, early windows like an innovative triple-track storm window were embraced by the market.  In 1976 Simonton introduced insulated glass units into all of their products. By the early 1980’s, the Simonton family recognized that vinyl was superior to aluminum for windows and doors, and the company headed in a new direction.

Throughout the 1990s, Simonton continued to be an industry leader, expanding and optimizing its vinyl product lines, introducing a wide selection of door styles, and developing new proprietary technology in all its window lines.  Simonton has also recognized the changing home improvement market with programs like their Lead Awareness Campaign and the Energy Star Certification Education Program.

Today, legendary Simonton quality continues to be recognized throughout the industry and is evident in the numerous industry awards Simonton receives. Simonton has manufacturing facilities in Pennsboro, Harrisville and Ellenboro, West Virginia, Paris, Illinois and Vacaville, California. Simonton now offers many distinct lines of vinyl retrofit and new construction windows and doors, including ENERGY STAR® compliant products, and even a full line of impact-resistant windows and doors designed for coastal applications.
